The Philippines: Part 2
Finally getting around to this...
Days 2-3: Cebu
After our full-day tour of Bohol, we boarded the evening Cebu-bound Ocean Jet, a fast ferry (~1.5 hours) set up on the inside like a passenger airplane, complete with drop-down tray tables and a movie screen. They showed Kung Pow: Enter The Fist (yes, the one with the kung-fu fighting cow), which has to be the most ridiculous movie ever made. Just ridiculous.

We stayed at the Cebu Midtown Hotel , which had a nice view of Cebu City.

The next day, we went around Cebu City.
First stop was "Tops," a high elevation spot just outside Cebu City, from which the entire city and its surroundings are visible. (Notice how I used "stop," "tops," and "spot" all in one coherent and relevant sentence. Genius.)

The Taoist Temple, located in an upscale neighborhood called, well, Beverly Hills, of course!

Yes, ok, I approve of the Philippines. Do tell about the exotic foods and strange non-American things that you saw. More pictures; I know this isn't all you took.
can't see the pictures when viewing from work, but i'll check them out at home.
i'm also interested in reading about what you THOUGHT of the vacation, of what you saw and did, of the people you met. not just an itenerary :-)
